The Ken social link was always a hugely controversial element of Persona 3 Portable. I've just been playing other games and wrapping up college, mostly. It took less than 24 hours from when Persona 3 Portable was first released, but a new PC version of the 'No Ken Romance' mod which was previously available on PSP is already up on modding site GameBanana. (the closest FES even shows is a split second view of the ocean, and part of the sky (with the rest obscured by a building and the train). worst case it's maybe ten minutes away from booting up a new save file) Given that this scene was represented with an FMV in FES originally, there actually isn't much I can do for it on my own. It acts as the sky behind the train's transparent windows, and I think it's the only time Portable double-layers backgrounds. It's a shot of Tatsumi Port Island and the ocean surrounding it, used when heading to Gekkoukan High for the first time via the train with Yukari. I can link it again if you need, but i'm sure you have it saved from my spam in this thread.Īlso, I noticed that a particular background wasn't upscaled. Apparently I didn't get around to finishing them before? It's fixed now, anyways. Just added the rest of Trismegistus and Hermes to the MEGA folder. It is a theoretical value cause I havent test this one in an ultrawide screen so maybe try your own value if the game looks odd _L 0x203B2084 3ECCCCCD // Not necessary unless X Ratio didnt work well for you _L 0x203B2084 3EE66666 // Not necessary unless X Ratio didnt work well for you _L 0x206D94B0 3F0E6F3B // Tartarus original X Ratio Use Y Ratio INSTEAD of X Ratio ONLY if X Ratio is still causing minor graphic glitches after disabling it but it really shouldnt Game will still look ultrawide after disabling the cheats so dont worry You have to disable the cheats after activating them and seeing them work or you might get minor graphic glitches if left on for long I recommend using only X Ratio and 3D Battle codes (Y Ratio is not necessary) and starting from a save inside the game _G Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable (This is despite the new texture and the old one more or less being aligned) For the moons, I corrected the rotation of the one during the Nyx fight to closer match the original texture, but in-game the moon seems to be mirrored for some reason. Those either need to be redrawn or ignored (unless something great is discovered). (And the actual FES cutscenes do not seem to be any higher quality than the screenshots used in P3P.) The cross hanging shots around the betrayal and the ones of the MCs sleeping are both examples of models in backgrounds which no model handles well. I'm still trying to find a good model for them. They are so noisy that normal upscales outright fail and denoised upscales loose too much detail. I figure it might owe to being upscaled with older models than the character portraits at this point. (Lest you have to redraw the redraw, as it were).Īgreed. but I think it might save some headaches to leave any manual fixing for these two things until a "final" set of upscale models is nailed down.
